caffé

I have finally grown up. I now drink coffee basically every day, we're even making lattés at home in the evening! Going to Italy definately cemented the growing tendency - they make nice, smoove caffé down there!

I never liked London. This is probably because I never belonged to it and resented the long dirty train ride into the heart of 'Freak City', but when ever I was there, I always felt a sense of antagonism that I've only ever previously felt for København... It could have something to do with loyalty though I suppose given my heart belongs to my beloved Århus, whilst in the UK I was deeply in love with Rochester with its second hand book shops and Dickensien heritage.

As for coffee.... good coffee is the best beverage yet discovered, but its so hard to find really good coffee and when you do its always where you least expect it. The most memorable cup of coffee I ever experienced was aboard the ferry to Oslo in 2000. It was from Ethiopia if I recall correctly, and tasted amazing. Even better than Jamaica Blue Mountain.

Most coffee by comparison though I find about as appetizing as the prospect of drinking diesel fuel.

Thanks for the link by the way. Its going to be intesting to see if this place flourishes in tact with your experiences or becomes a neglected refuge as so many blogs seem to.

Hils flæben and good luck. I shall keep a weather eye open for future posting here!

I drink my coffee from a cup,
and maja usually cries out: "wazzup"!

She used to dislike the very essence of it,
but now it is starting to become her favourite!

Hey majs... så kan jeg også følge lidt med. Min første post ever i nogen som helst persons BLOG!

Nu skal du bare lære at drikke den sort også!

Thanks for the posts, guys!

Moif - My incentive for this blog is to keep my own thoughts straight as well as letting friends and fam know what/how I am doing. Since I've become increasingly lazy when it comes to writing mails about what's new, I think it might be easier for me to just write the posts - and then you guys just pop in when you have the time to check out what I'm up to. I do hope to keep it going for a while - but we'll see how popular it is!

Kimotep - I am plesed that you spent your virgin-comment on my blog :.) just goes to show how much you love your dear sister, huh!

And Nyonyatan - let's grab some coffee when I get to school later.. I am still drained from the hardships of producing our presentation.
